We provide a welcoming and inclusive space where people of all ages, backgrounds and skill levels can meet to explore making with clay. Our aim is to foster creativity, wellness and social connection with the community of Chesterfield and surrounding areas.

Our classes are run by popular award winning local potter Clare Gage. Clare has a wealth of experience of teaching ceramics and brings her friendly and supportive teaching style to CCP.
We currently run 7 groups per week, each with no more than 10 people. Each session runs for a relaxed and enjoyable 2.5 hours. So if you want to focus quietly or enjoy a lively chat and wether you’d like to progress in a structured way or prefer finding your own path, there’s a space at CCP for you to enjoy your time with clay.
Alternatively, our one-off workshops give you a quick introduction to clay allowing you to complete a smaller project in just one session.
